Grilled Cheese Heaven

A break in rain showers calls for a stroll to the best grilled cheese and tomato soup. I never weary of the chewy, cheesy, buttery yummines of of a perfectly grilled cheese sandwich.

The Portland Streetcar

Loving the convenience of hopping aboard the streetcar and arriving within a block of the destination. I have noticed that most of the riders either 1. Have a pass, or 2. Free riding. Me thinks most are skipping paying the $1 fare.

Attended an amazing winemakers dinner (WillaKenzie) at Serratto on 21st. Sparkling conversation and delicious food and wine made for a magical evening 

'Tis the Season

Walking through Jamison Park I noticed this. Look closely and you will see a secret "door" in the tree, through which workers are accessing the tree interior. I saw a homeless person approaching  a bench stacked with boxes of holiday lights intended for the tree. One of the workers shouted "get away from the fucking lights" - Ahhh... The holiday spirit!

Second time this week

Who doesn't love a shampoo and blowout? One of the best things about living in the Pearl.

Indulging my love of beets. Freshly juiced beets, ginger, carrots, cucumber, cilantro and spinach. Greenleaf Juicing in NW 12th and Johnson. Don't you love the color?
